The IFHP invites researchers from different disciplines and countries to actively participate in this conference by submitting abstracts of papers to outline research that could encourage special dialogues on the deductive impact of urban technologies in sustainable urban development. The aim is to set up a debate and compare the various problems occurring and possible solutions.
We are looking for research in context with the theme of the IFHP World Congress "URBAN TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABILITY" that is visionary and is positioned in the framework of workshops on one of the congress sub-themes.

Interested researchers are invited to send an abstract (English language) in coherence to the criteria below with the filled in participation form, no later than 30th June 2009 to
call-for-papers@ifhp.de.
The researchers, selected by a scientific committee of the IFHP, will be informed promptly and invited to register for the congress for the reduced (student) registration fee. Full papers will be revised and posted on the IFHP webpage.
2. Contents of abstractThe following paragraphs are to be fulfilled (Font size 12)

- Abstract of not more than 1 (A4 size) page containing the major ideas of the paper
- Objectives
- Significance
- Methodology
- Pertinence to the main theme and a sub-theme of the congress
The abstract is to be prepared as a Word file or any other compatible software, A4 size paper, 2.5 cm margins on all 4 sides. The abstract is not to exceed a maximum of two (A4 size) pages.
